About Us

In 2005 Ranchland Development Inc. was conceived and began taking shape. The founder understood that in today’s era, as ownership of ranchland changes, as well as it’s use, a need is created to help these new owners with the improvement, development, and maintenance of their properties with a focus towards agriculture, wildlife conservation, recreational and investment purposes. Ranchland Development was founded to address these issues.

Ranchland Development is the culmination of the knowledge, skills, experiences, and life works of it’s founder, Roland N. Spencer.

Roland grew up on the farm, participated in 4-H, became FFA chapter vice president, won numerous production and conservation awards during his high school years. He furthered his education and received a BS degree in agriculture, minor in business administration and area of concentration in horticulture.

During and after college, Roland operated a retail garden center and landscape company, which later became RNS Landscape Contracting, Inc. As the company grew and flourished, he continued his cattle operation. He also became involved with real estate, property management, and restoration work. The founder’s entrepreneur mind, and desire, began to conceive a new venture, which would utilize his talents and resources to provide a service to an emerging market.
